When that old pine or cottonwood in your yard finally succumbs to old age or calamity, you don't have to turn it in to firewood. Just find an artist with a chainsaw. Who knew these creatures were living in those trees!
Me again...wanted to thank you for the info on Terry Sohl...it is his website of photos that I use for ID'ing my birds that aren't in my localized bird book!! Gorgeous photos, eh?!

Carved wood reminds me of the carved redwood figures that are sold on the roadside along the N Calif coast where I grew up. Nice pics!
