I love seeing all the different penstemons that grow in the Black Hills. It's a long way until they're in bloom again and I'm already missing the spring/summer flowers.
Interesting flower ... I'm assuming they are smaller than they appear. Photography has a way of confusing the scale from what we see in real life.
