whiskered One

Next to daffodils, pansies are my favorite spring flowers, this one had a honey sweet smell. I am sure that the deer would find it in a nanosecond and make breakfast out of it. But....if I put it in a hanging pot.....

I'd run right out and plant some if I thought the deer would show up.

Carol, Around here they love pansies, tulips, tomatoes, roses, etc. etc.
I would cheerfully loan you some of our local deer for decoration in your yard. Would you like muleys or white-tail, we have ample supply of both!

Alternatively, you could put the deer in a hanging pot. Logistically difficult but probably effective.
